Your Mission

Every day, we work together on tailor-made solutions for large online retailers and marketplaces, shaping the payment solutions of tomorrow.

As a Working Student (m/f/d) in Fraud Screening, you have a keen eye for irregularities: you review transactions made by our partners’ customers, identify suspicious patterns, and assess potential fraud cases. Together with your team in the Risk department, you help ensure fraudulent activity is detected and prevented, keeping our payment ecosystem secure.

Your Tasks

You review and process transactions to assess potential fraud cases.
You identify fraud trends and share your insights with your colleagues.
You proactively suggest improvements to daily workflows.

That's What You Bring Along

You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (for at least 18 more months), preferably with a focus on mathematics, economics, psychology, or similar
You are interested in an exciting task in the field of fraud prevention and may have already gained some experience in this area
With your analytical mindset and your strong communication skills English (German is a plus), you help advance your team and Ratepay every day
You are ready to work on weekends, evenings and bank holidays; in return, we offer you high flexibility (the onboarding will take place during the week in the first 2-3 months)
